The purpose of this program is for design and check of Channel’s section that have been strengthen with additional flange plate, unity check is the ratio between actual stress compare to allowable stress in accordance with Code and Standard.
AISC ASD 9th edition is used for the design.
User could manual customise section size and design parameter, the program have function to compile the report and send it through email.
Two available option of design unit : kN & m or kips & ft.
Program is useful to validate existing beam strength (brownfield case), which the beam could not be replaced but can be strengthened.
Program have weight calculator to estimate beam’s weight per length.
